    Windows 7 Release...


    Well as you will all (or should all) know, Windows 7 was released on Thursday! And what an effect it had on my blog hits! There must be a fair few Samsung N310 owners out there looking for some advice on how to get Windows 7 working perfectly!!


    I have some news for you guys! Samsung have now released Windows 7 compatible drivers for most (if not all) of the machines they make, this includes the N310. Just head over to the Samsung N310 Driver Downloads page, and find them there!

    Hi Sam,

    Just getting an N310 and am keen to get in running some kind of linux distro on it. I've been scouring the web and have found that some have installed ubuntu (9.10 and 9.04 and UNR) with varying degrees of reported success, and found also someone who'd installed linux mint and wasn't very happy with it.

    Just wondered if you'd explored this at all?

    Hi Steve,

    Sorry for such an appallingly late reply, been very busy recently. Personally i've installed Ubuntu 9 on the netbook and had no problems whatsoever. I didn't like the OS in the end, so replaced it with windows 7. But as far as I was concerned the old Ubuntu distro worked fine, so you should have no problem with the new 10.0 distro out now!
